CHARACTER INTERPRETATION
» Appearance: Elijah is about six foot tall, short cropped dark hair and deep, dark eyes that give away what he is feeling a lot of the time. He is classicly handsome, always impeccably dressed in a suit and tie. He rarely even has a hair out of place, his smile is a small one, though very genuine when he does decide to show it. Most often than not Elijah will wear a calm expression, all his give away coming only from the deep well of his eyes.

Collar; Elijah's collar will be a simple tie like the ones he wears in canon.

» Suitability: N/A
» Orientation: Heterosexual; as canon wise he has only been see being intimate with women, for example Celeste; Katherine and Hayley. That said, Elijah has lived for over a thousand years, so sex with either gender is not going to be something he will balk at, especially if he cares about the person.
» Personality: Elijah Mikaelson is first and foremost, a family man, he loves them deeply and is intensely loyal to them. This family now includes Hayley, a woman he loves more than he has loved any other, one he has let close and for the first time sees a possibility of a real future with. Elijah is definitely the older brother, there is no denying that as he is often the one that stands between Rebekah and Klaus or Klaus and the rest of the world.

He will stand up to Niklaus when it is necessary and when he feels that the situation will go too far if done Klaus' way, though, there are a lot of times where he defers to his younger brother. As Elijah feels that he failed Niklaus when Mikael beat him by not protecting him the older Mikaelson spends his eternity trying to make that very act up to his brother. Even damaging himself in the process. He is just as loyal to Rebekah however, as he sees her as more stable than Niklaus thus much of his focus goes into his brother, leading him to fail his sister. I believe at his canon point Elijah has come to see this with Rebekah's departure from the family, it is something he would fix if she were near and he could.

Elijah keeps a cool head, blunt in his speech in many ways, yet always polite, even when threatening someone. Above all else, Elijah is a man of his word, be careful what those words are though, because he sticks to them, to the letter. It is why he is always careful in what he says when he offers his word. So as to not break it. Calm, collected, does not mean he can not be violent.

Elijah is capable of great violence, preferring to rip his opponents hearts out and doing so while trying not to dirty his suit at least. It takes a large provocation to send Elijah into such action however, he prefers words to fists. Hurt his family, come after them in any way however and Elijah will make certain that it is by his hand which you pay. Unless of course his word has already been given not to hurt you, that is the only thing which can save a person in such a time. Because, he will not break it, even if he aches to do so.

Elijah loves fiercely, there is no half way with him. He may try to hold back but in the end, if his heart is in it, it is fully in with no way of taking it back. The same can be said for his anger, when ignited it is a cold fire, but a raging one all the same. He may still appear calm, short of the dark look in his eyes, his actions remain calculated but they are very much to the point.

To make it sort of short and sweet here, Elijah Mikaelson is a stoic man, with an undying loyalty to his family. A being of deep emotion, he is honorable and will never break his word (outside of dire, very dire circumstances). He is what one would term the voice of reason in his family and the caretaker as he has devoted his life to doing so. Well spoken, with a keen intelligence. He does have a surprising sense of humor even if he does not show it all the time, his amusement is like everything else about him. Simple and quiet. Though, no pushover, he will "knuckle up" when it is called for and does not balk at such things. However, he will try for another route if he can.

Elijah and sex, considering the game setting is something to be said. He has canonly only been seen with women, leaving me to mark him as heterosexual. However, Elijah has lived over a thousand years and I believe that to him, people are people. Survival is paramount and if that means sleeping with someone, he will certainly do so, male or female. However, Elijah would prefer to make some sort of connection and will struggle emotionally with the need for casual sex in Atia.

My name is Elijah Mikaelson, I have recently arrived here. [A slow breath, because change is hard okay, he likes how he dresses.]

I have come to find that my attire is not appropriate for the weather on the island. I would be grateful for reference to a good tailor who could help me remedy this problem of mine. They will need to look correct with a tie as I can not remove mine.

[A beat, as he wipes his brow with an honest to god handkerchief]

Elijah had tried his best to ignore the collar, even if sleeping with his tie on was awkward even for him. It had lasted for several days, this ignoring of his collar. Focusing instead on Niklaus and whatever trouble he had gotten into on the island. As well as job hunting and finding a suitable place for them to live. His role as caretaker had slipped back into place naturally.

Key being, Elijah forgot again to take care of himself as he did so. He lay in his bed after waking, his breathing more ragged than he can ever recall it being. His hand wandered to the tie around his neck. He gave an ineffective tug out of frustration with no sound what so ever, no relief either. He knew what he had to do, how it would be best to proceed. However, he could not bring himself to go to a stranger, not yet. It was said self-gratification could help for a time.

His feet hit the floor and Elijah went for the bathroom, no sense to risk someone walking in on him. He locked the door, got the water hot and stepped in, as it poured over his body he willed himself to arousal. His chaste thoughts of every day worries was not helping. Then, he brought up a picture of deep brown eyes, an easy smile and a mass of brunette hair that was as soft as silk. He felt the stirring begin in his body and knew he had found his "muse", even if she must not know of it. Elijah had not had many reasons to touch himself this way in his thousand years so he was a bit awkward at first when his fingers found his length and wrapped around it.

The slow, smooth strokes slowly became more confident as he found that even this felt good. The hot water steamed down over his pale skin and dark hair, flattening it to his forehead as his wrist worked a little faster. He tugged, he pulled, he kept her in his minds eye, letting his imagination do what he had longed to for so long. It was the taste of her skin as he imagined it that finally did it for Elijah, the groan of her name was undeniable as air rushed into his lungs and his hips gave a shudder. Body releasing for the first time in way too long, the tension eased from his shoulders and his head hit his arm propped against the shower wall.

The man panted for a few moments before righting himself. He would never speak of this to another soul, no matter who they were. Elijah finished his shower, stepped out and made certain to clean the shower thoroughly before he dressed and left the bathroom. Lungs feeling better, even if his heart still ached.
